This story is full of coincidences, making it the stuff of legends. Jacqueline Champion and Andrew Reeves crossed lines first as teenagers who met at a theme party in 1983 in Bristol.

The two immediately hit it off, and they began dating. After two years of their relationship, they finally decided to call it off and go their separate ways. Little did they know what fate had in store for them.
Separate but Together?
As time went on, the young couple drifted apart and began to lead their own lives. Coincidentally, August 1993 was the year when both of them got married – to different partners.

They also had two children at exactly the same time in their lives. Jacqueline’s two children, Luke and Rory, are aged 21 and 19, respectively, while Andrew’s two young daughters, Annabel and Charlotte, are of the same age as well.
The Strange Coincidences Continue
The marriages of both of these people happen to fall apart exactly 16 years later. This was when Andrew decided to look for his soulmate – whom he truly believed was his teenage sweetheart, Jacqueline.

Fortunately, Andrew now had the internet to come to his rescue. He began looking in every corner of the internet and scoured the social media pages of anybody he thought would have been connected to Jacqueline.
Tracking Her Down Through Her Ex-Husband
Remarkably, Andrew was able to find Jacqueline, not through her mother, father, or other family members. Through her ex-husband’s Facebook profile, Andrew was able to reconnect with his old girlfriend once again.

Thus, it was nearly 24 years later, in November 2009, that he shot her a message on Facebook saying, “Remember me?”
Happily Ever After
That same year was when Jacqueline had been dealing with her split from her ex-husband. Imagine her surprise when a message popped up on her Facebook DMs which said, “Remember me?”

Jacqueline was more than excited to reconnect with her old partner and said it was a complete “blast from the past.” The two have now been reunited with each other and are very much in love, just like they were 24 years ago. In retrospect, Jacqueline says, “we were so much in love, I have no idea why we ended things all those years ago.”
