Washington Is Ranked No. 1
Since the United States is the country where most Bigfoot sightings have been reported, the states have been ranked according to number of sightings (Hawaii wasn’t included). As it turns out, Washington is number one. The last on the list? Rhode Island.

Second is California, third is Florida, and Ohio – ranked number four – seems to be a hotbed for Bigfoot encounters. (If you’re curious, the list was compiled by Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization. They set out “to compile the number of credible sightings by state that were credited and maintained by researchers, archivists and investigators of Bigfoot.”)
